Polk County male wins $5 million Mega Millions prize

A Polk County male won a $5 million Mega Millions esteem from a Florida Lottery’s Mar 10 drawing, lottery officials announced.

Bruce Amidon, 70, of Tamarac, purchased his winning sheet during a Primetime Food Store on Commonwealth Avenue Southwest in Polk County.

Amidon’s sheet had all 5 white round numbers matching, though was blank a compare on a Mega Ball.

The tradesman will accept a $5,000 reward for offered a winning ticket.

The subsequent Mega Millions sketch is Friday during 11 p.m. ET with an estimated $96 million jackpot, according to a Florida Lottery said.
