Golden Joysticks 2018 Winners: God of War Cleans Up, Fortnite Somehow Wins

The 36th annual Golden Joystick Awards have now wrapped up, a sprightly hour and a half of handing out awards with a few new trailers interspersed in-between. The categories were broad, though God of War managed to obstacle a many gongs with 4 in total.

It was a excellent though unspectacular uncover that serves as a flattering good warm-up for The Game Awards in December. Joining God of War with large wins were Fortnite, Red Dead Redemption II, and most deserved approval for Hidetaka Miyazaki with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Check out a full run-down of all a night’s endowment winners, that were mostly motionless by fans, down below. Bold denotes a winner.

Fortnite deteriorate 6 2

Fortnite (it came out in 2017 and is technically in Early Access though ok)

A integrate of truly furious picks in there, Fortnite especially. It’s also peculiar that Red Dead Redemption 2 was adult for a Critics Choice endowment though not authorised for a fan vote. Oh well. See we again subsequent year, where Fortnite will substantially win again since a thing only won’t die.
