At a pre-E3 press discussion today, publisher Bethesda announced that Arkane Studios’ Dishonored has a new stand-alone story on a way, and it’s bringing a fan-favorite behind from a dead.
Serving as a supplement to both Dishonored 2 and a episodic story DLC from a strange Dishonored, Dishonored: Death of a Outsider sees puzzling bandit and former killer Billie Lurk rescuing her former master — and killer of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin — Daud, a Knife of Dunwall. As a now-cybernetically extended Billie frees Daud from a puzzling ship, a killer tells her their new target: a abnormal force of disharmony The Outsider, a base of both Daud’s powers and those of Dishonored protagonists Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin.
Dishonored: Death of a Outsider is a stand-alone release, accessible both digitally and physically on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
Based on a trailer, it would seem that both Michael Madsen and Rosario Dawson are reprising their roles as Daud and Billie, respectively. It seems expected that Death of a Outsider will keep a dual-character setup of Dishonored 2, charity opposite mechanics and story elements formed on your comparison protagonist.
Dishonored: Death of a Outsider is scheduled for recover on Sept. 15, 2017 for $29.99.
Correction: This story has been updated to explain that Death of a Outsider is not downloadable calm for Dishonored 2, though a stand-alone release.
